We're looking forward to the 3rd annual Memorial Day 5K/10K located in beautiful East Cobb. We're expecting a great crowd, for a fun fast event. Awards to the top 3 overall Men & Women, top 3 overall masters men & women, age group awards, tech shirts...and loads of other great items.

Wheelchair Division. We've added a wheelchair division for the 10K. If you're a wheelchair athlete, this will be a great opportunity to be a part of the inaugural Memorial Day 10K Wheelchair event.

Regular Registration through May 24: 5K...$30 &

Race Day registrations are welcome for an additional $5, and
shirts will be available while supplies last. |

| Event Beneficiary: |
Memorial Day is about remembering the soldiers who died while
on Active Duty in the Military. It is with this in mind that our
Beneficiary of the race will be The Armed Forces Foundation. The
Armed Forces Foundation is dedicated to providing
comfort and support to members of the United States military and their
families during times of need. |
| Course: |
Both the 10K & 5K are certified courses that start and
finish in the Parking Lot of LA Fitness on the corner of Sandy Plains
& E. Piedmont. Both routes are an out and back, and will be run
entirely on E. Piedmont Rd. See event web site for a course map. |
| Aid stations: |
All aid stations will have water & energy drink. the 5K will have 2 stops, and the 10K will have 5 stops. |
| Awards, Goodies, & Festival: |
All participants registered by 5/17are guaranteed a moisture
wicking race shirt (child sizes may be cotton). Women's cuts are also
available! Awards in both races to the Overall Male & Female,
Overall Masters (40+) as well as the top 3 in each age group. (10 &
under - 65+ for the 5K; 19 & under - 65+ for the 10K) |
| Finisher Awards: |
All 10K participants will receive a custom finisher award. |
| Championship & Turkey Trot: |
All
participants will automatically qualify for FREE entry
into the Five Star Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot. Top finishers will
also have the opportunity to earn a spot in the championships to be held
on Dec 19, 2015. The number of spots available is based on the total
registration...see event website for details. |
